""Cooking is all about people. Food is maybe the only universal thing that really has the power to bring everyone together. No matter what culture, everywhere around the world, people eat together."

FAQ
Where do food photography sessions take place?
Most of my food photography sessions take place at restaurant establishments. Depending on the needs of your project, you may opt to have your session take place in a rentable space such as a studio or kitchen, and these options are available to you at an additional cost.
Do you style the food?
Although I may add some finishing touches or details, I do not style the food. Clients either choose to use their restaurant staff to style the food in a manner consistent with their presentation for customers or a food stylist is hired for this task.
How is pricing structured?
In the world of food photography, there is not a "one price fits all" approach because the cost of doing food photography is dependent on a multitude of factors, such as the duration of the shoot, the estimated duration of editing time, the number of images you'll be using, how you want to use those images, and the duration of their use to name just a few. When we begin working together, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire to indicate your specific needs and for me to provide you with a fair and accurate quote for your project. If the quote does not fit within your budget for your project, we will work together making adjustments to the final requirements of your project.
Do clients own the rights to the images they get?
No. In almost every situation where a photographer is involved, they will retain the rights to the images regardless of if the images are for personal or commercial use. In the case of food photography, you and the photographer will work out the terms for usage (how the photos will be used such as online/in print) and licensing (basically this is renting the images for a defined duration of time).
