The HOPE Foundation of Kenya

In December 2021, my family's hearts were moved to support the mission of The HOPE Foundation in Kenya by sponsoring a child. Since then, we have been making monthly contributions that support the nutritional, educational, and medical needs of our sponsored child and her family.

Our sponsored child, "Grace" Kanze, along with her mother, father, and brother live in a 3 room block house with an iron sheet roof. Her family cooks by use of firewood and cooking stones, and their bathroom is a pit latrine. Grace's family has a household income of just $60 per month. Over the last year, we have been blessed to receive letters from Grace, her beautiful pictures, and grade reports from her school. I simply cannot express how meaningful it has been to help a family have a better life on the other side of the world.

Even when life is hard for myself and my family, we realize we are blessed beyond measure. That is why, in addition to my family's personal monthly contribution, Laura Starks Photography will donate 5% of profits from print and product purchases made from the Fine Art Gallery, annually.
