Spring is in the Air!

Spring is such a beautiful time of year, with it's fresh new blooms and greens coming alive once again. In this season of renewal, pastels are the perfect choice.

Pick one palette and then pick 3-4 colors from that palette to plan your outfits.  You don't want to blend into your surroundings, so you'll want to avoid wearing too much green at this time of year. Below are a few of my favorite color combinations for the season of Spring that will make your portraits POP! If you choose to add white to your wardrobes, my suggestion would be to wear more off-white or creamy whites, as these are much more flattering in portraits. These palettes should give you a great starting point for planning your wardrobes!

Feel free to add small floral prints or other simple patterns, but keep patterns limited to 25%-50% of family members (EX. 2 family members' outfits, for a family of 4). Layers always look great. Wearing a hat, scarf, and/or vest always look great in portraits.
